Cheryl Cole jokes One Direction success is down to her

The former X Factor UK  judge and mentor has joked on twitter that she is responsible for One Directions Record Breaking success by getting to Number 1 in the album charts in the US .

Cheryl tweeted praise for the Band saying how proud of the boys she is and joking "Remember who really mentored you when @simoncowell wasnt there LMAO!! #proudofyouboys" .


Cheryl and simon have been like best friends who have just found out they were both dating the same person ever since he publicly humiliated her , by kicking her off  X Factor USA last year .

Cheryl recently recieved her breakthrough roll in a movie starring Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez called "What to expect when your expecting" , in which she plays a fictional talent show judge (how ironic) .

What to expect when your expecting , hits cinemas May 18th 2012 .

Kelly rowland wants X Factor USA Job.

"Kelly Rowland" (former destinys child band member) has said in a interview with CNN thats she thinks   "It would be awesome to judge over here (the USA) for X Factor" , and that "(she) really enjoyed (her) time over in the UK being a judge"

With "Paula Abdul" and "Nicole Scherzinger" having departed after just one US series , it leaves two spots open on the judging panel but it all depends on  Mr "Simon Cowell" and wether he thinks its a good idea to give kelly the role .

Kelly went down very well with audiences in the UK and Ireland last year on the UK version of X Factor despite replacing "Cheryl Cole" (the former UK judge and sex symbol idolised by millions) who left to be on the US show only to get dropped by SICO last year . Despite not being on great speaking terms with Simon , he has revealed getting Cheryl back on the UK version of the show is something he wants. Is this Kellys chance to hand her place back to Cheryl in the UK in return for a Judging role in the US ?
