"Garry Ross" latest film "The Hunger Games" is already breaking records by setting the new record for most box office gross purely from midnight screenings by a non sequel . The movie has already taken in nearly 20 million dollars , placing it in the top ten midnight openings with the likes of "Harry Potter and the deathly hallows Part 2" and is expected to gross way above 100 million dollars in the US alone .
The movie based on the first book of a trilogy about a post apocalyptic future society , written by author "Suzzane Colllins" . It stars "Jennifer Lawrence" and "Josh Hucherson" and is expected to cause a huge flocking of Teens and Young adults to cinemas in the next few weeks .
